The Alliance of Active NGOs in the field of Child and Family Social Protection (APSCF) is launching of the competition for the “Alexandra Grajdian” Trophy for COURAGE AND INNOVATION in promoting the inclusive education 2020. The trophy, registered with the National Heraldic Commission, is awarded annually by the APSCF to the institutions that have made a substantial and lasting contribution to the development and promotion of inclusive education.
The competition consists of 4 stages:
- Nomination Period (September 3 – 30, 2020)
- Evaluation of (October 01 – 11, 2020)
- Visits to the nominated institutions made by the members of the Evaluation Committee (October 12-21, 2020)
- Award ceremony (November, 2020).
The eligibility criteria of the institutions, according to the Regulation, are the following:
- Courage and innovation in promoting inclusive education
- Accessibility of the institution
- Advocacy / advocacy for inclusive education
- Cooperation and partnerships with parents, community, local public administration, NGOs, other educational institutions, etc.
- Pro-actively promoting one’s own experiences, by providing methodical assistance to other institutions and carrying out various actions that contribute to the change of attitudes and behaviors at the level of educational institutions in the effective organization of educational and social inclusion
