From July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, the Alliance of NGOs Active in the Field of Child and Family Social Protection (APSCF) is implementing the project “Integrated humanitarian response for Ukrainians affected by conflict and third-country nationals from Ukraine, Poland, Romania, and Moldova,” in partnership with Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe (DKH), with the financial support of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs (AA).
The project is implemented by APSCF, along with fove implementing partners (NGOs): Amici dei Bambini Moldova (AiBi), the DEMOS Public Association, the “Alternative Sociale” Public Association, Partnerships for Every Child (P4EC), and the Center for Information and Documentation on Child Rights in Moldova (CIDDC).
Partners carry out activities nationwide for 6,650 individuals, including refugees from Ukraine, host community members, including vulnerable locals, and third-country nationals affected by the conflict.
The activities focus on creating conditions to facilitate the integration of refugees into local realities. With a comprehensive approach, the activities target both adults and children, creating a common context for their inclusion. The services are oriented towards:
- Access to specialised protection services;
- Mental health and psychosocial support;
- Access to formal and non-formal education;
- Ensuring access to education for school-age children;
- Access to livelihoods;
- Social inclusion;
- Psychosocial support;
- Basic needs assistance;
- Capacity building for local specialists involved in crisis response;
- Organising leisure activities.
The budget for the Republic of Moldova under the “Integrated humanitarian response for Ukrainians affected by conflict and third-country nationals from Ukraine, Poland, Romania, and Moldova” project exceeds EUR 950,000.
