From January to May 2023, the Alliance of NGOs active in the field of Child and Family Welfare (APSCF) is implementing the project “Assisting Moldovan NGOs in Supporting Ukrainian Refugees – Phase II”, with financial support provided by Aktion Deutschland Hilft (ADH) through Help-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe. The project is a continuation of the first intervention supporting Ukrainian refugees in Moldova carried out by APSCF in 2022, whereby 10 APSCF member organisations involved in working with refugees received grant funding.
The aim of the project is to assist and support approximately 1000 beneficiaries, refugees as a result of the war in Ukraine and vulnerable people in the Republic of Moldova.
The funding provided by APSCF with the support of Help-Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe will be used to cover the following categories of needs:
- food products,
- hygiene items,
- clothing items,
- household appliances,
- equipment such as laptops and printers,
- toys,
- games and supplies for art and play therapy,
- educational materials and supplies,
- playroom furniture,
- fuel for delivering food and goods to refugees and locals,
- developing a web platform for cancer patients,
- psychological counselling services,
- courses in Romanian language, English language, leadership, and other educational activities, etc.
