Between 2018 – 2020, the Alliance of Active NGOs in the field of Child and Family Social Protection (APSCF) is an implementation partner for the project ”Better social services through a sustainable partnership between civil society and government”. The project aims to empower local civil society actors and public authorities to promote and to implement innovative solutions intended to promote social inclusion for people with mental disabilities and children from vulnerable groups.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
- capacity building for 60 NGOs active in the social field so they can develop and implement innovative social services based on the individual needs of people with mental disabilities and vulnerable children;
- provide technical and financial assistance for up to 30 projects developed by CSOs and focused on providing community-based services at local level in partnership with public authorities;
- facilitate the dialogue and help establishing partnerships between the NGOs selected as beneficiaries and the government, aiming at developing sustainable community services;
- capacity building for 60 NGOs, members of the two partner networks (APSCF and AOPD), with regard to social responsibility, with a special focus on monitoring and evaluation of social services and goods.
BENEFICIARIES OF THE PROJECT

- national and local public authorities;
- vulnerable children and their families, including Roma, unaccompanied minors, victims of domestic abuse, homeless people, etc.;
- people with mental disabilities.
The project ”Better social services through a sustainable partnership between civil society and government” has a two-year duration and is financed by the European Union through the Soros Foundation Moldova, with Keystone Moldova, AODP and APSCF as implementing partners.
