Psycho-emotional support programme for education professionals

On 1 December 2022 the Psycho-emotional Support Programme for Education Professionals was launched.

During the workshops, more than 90 teachers, managers and psychologists from primary and secondary schools teaching in Russian identified the differences between “integrative learning” and “inclusive learning”; addressed the topic of social and educational inclusion of children in the context of the humanitarian crisis in educational institutions in Moldova; reflected on the needs of refugee children in Moldova and who are the people responsible for meeting the needs of these children.
Teachers shared their own experiences of working with refugee families and their children. At the same time, participants discussed their own difficulties and needs for training and support that teachers have in working with refugee families in the Republic of Moldova.

Emotional support and training activities for education professionals are carried out by the Child Rights Information and Documentation Centre, within the project “Support for the inclusion of refugee children in educational institutions in the Republic of Moldova, implemented in partnership with APSCF, within the grant programme “Support for refugees under the umbrella of APSCF”, with the financial support of Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe.
