APSCF continues training the member organizations and other stakeholders on the subject of child participation in the decision-making process of the organization. On July 23, 2020, APSCF organised, in partnership with CIDDC and Child Rights Ombudsman Office, the 3rd online workshop focused on the matter. The workshop was attended by 29 participants, of which 20 representatives of APSCF member organizations.
The purpose of the workshop was understanding the second standard regarding the child’s participation in the decision-making process of the organization – “The child’s participation is voluntary”. The participants discussed the 4 basic elements of the standard, actively involved in an exchange of opinions, practical examples, questions and recommendations on the application of the standard in the daily life of the organization. The team of organisers is aiming to present and examine together with the participants all the 9 standards on child participation in the decision-making process of the organization, the next workshop being scheduled for August 2020.
