Participatory monitoring and evaluation – a mechanism for social responsibility

Between October 3 and 9, 2019 the Alliance of Active NGOs in the field of Child and Family Social Protection (APSCF) organized 2 training sessions focussing on “Participatory monitoring and evaluation – a mechanism for social responsibility”.

The concept of participatory monitoring and evaluation (MEP) is a very interesting one“, “We know what monitoring and evaluation is, but we find that MEP has a different approach, one in which all the key actors participate / are involved right from the beginning of the process“, “MEP is a dynamic process and applying this method would achieve other results“, “It is a method and a concept that deserves to be applied and promoted“- these are just a few of the the appreciation of the participants in the training sessions.

The event was organized within the project “Better social services through a sustainable partnership between civil society and government” financed from the financial sources of the European Union implemented and co-financed by the Soros Foundation Moldova in partnership with Keystone Moldova and the Alliance of the Organizations for People with Disabilities of the Republic of Moldova (AOPD). The purpose of the project is to enable civil society organizations in the country to establish long-term dialogue and partnerships with residential institutions and public authorities in developing innovative, sustainable and adapted community services to the identified local needs and priorities.
