The PROCOPIL regional program is an initiative for developing the capacities of the networks of organizations or associations active in the field of child protection and the child rights in France, Bulgaria, Romania and the Republic of Moldova. APSCF is a partner since 2005, together with FONPC Romania, RNE Bulgaria and Solidarite Laique France.
RESULTS
- More than 20 APSCF members, together with local partners, have learned to manage small projects promoting services at local level;
- Approximately 50 people, NGO’s or volunteer leaders are in permanent direct contact with partners in France, Bulgaria and Romania on topics related to: protection and inclusion of children with disabilities, education of children with special needs, leisure time of children, interventions in emergency situations, the integration and protection of young people, including young graduates from boarding schools, etc.;
- At least 10 APSCF members are recognized as trainers (on different domains) by the 3 partner networks and participate in the training of their colleagues and partners;
- 20 persons delegated by APSCF member have benefited from training in free time animation and have their diplomas recognized by the competent authority in Romania, which, if necessary, can be used in the EU;
- More than 50 member NGOs have benefited during the implementation of free access to study visits and experience exchanges in France, Bulgaria and Romania;
- APSCF, as a network, has learned to better manage its activities. A year ago, the APSCF launched a project to regionalise the alliance on geographic and partly political principles: north, center, south, Gagauzia and the left bank of the Nistru. This approach is an additional step in developing the capacities of member NGOs to participate in the public policy process.
The PROCOPIL program is financed mainly by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through Solidarite Laique.
