In the framework of the project “Education for Global Citizenship”, 20 teams of students and teachers have benefited from trainings in which the topics of Global Citizenship and the role of values in decision-making in crisis situations; Understanding problem-causes and effects, tools for analysis of local problems; National and local actors-partners in crisis situations; Preparation of advocacy plans and budget through community consultation.
The aim of the trainings was to prepare children for the role of community leaders, able to identify community problems in the context of refugee integration and to find solutions to solve them by developing an action plan.
Out of the 20 teams, 5 received funding from the project to solve the problem in their locality.
The project “Education for Global Citizenship” is implemented in partnership with APSCF, under the grant program of the project “Support for Refugees under the umbrella of APSCF”, with financial support from donor Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe from September to January 2022.
