The Inclusive Education Gala 2019

For the fourth consecutive year, on December 10, 2019 was organised the Inclusive Education Gala 2019, an event during which APSCF awarded the “Alexandra Grajdian” Trophy for COURAGE AND INNOVATION in promoting inclusive education.

The “Alexandra Grajdian” trophy for COURAGE AND INNOVATION in promoting inclusive education was awarded this year to the kindergarten / nursery no. 2 “Foisor” from Edinet. The institution was recognised for the accessibility of its physical and educational environment. Currently, the kindergarten is attended by 21 children with special educational needs. The institution is a kindergarten for all children, in which the management team together with the teaching staff and parents contribute to ensuring a child-friendly environment. In all these years, the kindergarten has demonstrated a truly inclusive culture that is reflected in the individualized attitude and approach of each child and each parent who comes to the institution.

Within the Gala, there were also granted two special mentions by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, in partnership with APSCF: the Gymnasium “V. Bulicanu” from Bolduresti, Nisporeni district – for “ensuring educational opportunities for every child”, and the Early Education Institution no. 10 “Miorita” from Balti – for “proactive involvement in promoting inclusive practices in the education system”.
